Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 1239.
We are an active, youth-led troop of girls in the Penn Trafford Area and are part of the Westmoreland Fayette Council of the BSA. Our scouts are from Penn Township and its surrounding communities, including North Huntingdon, Irwin, Jeannette, Trafford, Mount Pleasant, and Scottdale.
We founded the troop on 2/1/2019 and were excited to be the first female troop in the Bushy Run District of Westmoreland Fayette Council. We have a proven track record of youth led leadership. Our scouts plan their troop meetings and activities in order to have an engaging program that allows them to advance at their own individual pace.
